Orange Apple Drink Or Puree For Breakfast
This is a blended mix that I enjoy and have found helps keep me from taking the students' colds.
Peel the orange colored skin from a medium sized orange, leave all the white on. Cut up in pieces and place in a blender.
Add 1 chopped apple including skin and seeds. If you do not know whether the apple was sprayed, you had better peel it. Add ½ c. grated pineapple and ½ c. powdered milk, or powdered whey. Blend until completely mixed and if too stiff to drink, spoon it out of your glass as you would sherbet; sprinkle ground nuts over the top.
Many other foods may be used, such as any of the following: yoghurt, ground seeds or nuts, unsulphured molasses, brewer's yeast, small amount of wheat germ (as it has such a raw taste), few dates, raisins or other dried fruit.
