To Eat Healthily Always Start The Day With Breakfast.

If you want to feel your best and look your best, you can't afford to go without breakfast. An ideal breakfast to send you forth feeling fine and with the ability to think clearly, is one in which the largest part of the meal is protein foods and the rest vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates.

To assure yourself enough energy to last all morning, be sure to start breakfast with fruit, fruit juice or vegetable juice, followed by whole grain cereal, eggs or meat, whole-wheat toast and milk. Sweeten the cereal with honey or fruit juice instead of sugar. Sweet rolls, coffee cake or doughnuts should be eaten rarely, if at all.

Plan Your Breakfast The Night Before

Because breakfast is usually prepared and eaten in a hurry, it is important to plan it ahead of time. The table can be set the night before, the cereal measured ready to pop into boiling water. But only stewed, canned or frozen fruits should be fixed the night before. Orange juice should never be squeezed and allowed to stand all night.
