Eat A Healthy Lunch Each Day

Dinner time should be family time, and the food should be planned and prepared so as to contribute to the happiness of all the members.

You also must take into consideration the various foods the family has eaten at other meals during the day, so a balanced diet will be the result, complete in all the important nutrients.

The main course is usually meat or other protein foods such as eggs, fish, poultry, legumes, seed or nut dishes. There should be two vegetables, one of them green or yellow, a raw vegetable, whole-grain bread, butter and a light dessert, or none at all.

A more elaborate evening meal might start with a cocktail of seafood, avocado or fruit, or a clear soup.

Lunch and dinner menus may be interchangeable, depending upon personal preference or the habits of the family.
